Person Rushed to the Hospital After Being Rescued from Rocheport House Fire

One person was rushed to a nearby hospital following a house fire in Rocheport yesterday afternoon (Thursday).

Boone County Fire District went to the fire around 4:30 on Howard Street where the home was engulfed in flames with one person inside.

The person was rescued from the home and said to have suffered burns. Their condition is unknown.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
