COVID-19 Outbreak in Moberly Correctional Center

A significant outbreak of COVID-19 is being seen at the Moberly Correctional Center.

The Randolph County Health Department noted 92 new active cases were confirmed over the weekend.

As of last week on Thursday, just 16 cases were confirmed in the facility and as soon as 2 weeks ago, the prison’s active cases were in single digits.

Ten of the COVID-positive patients are hospitalized as of yesterday (Monday).
