Mexico Public Safety Responds to Fire on Back of Utility Trailer Moving Down the Road

Mexico Public Safety says no one was injured after they saw a small fire in the back of a utility trailer that was being pulled down the roadway yesterday (Thursday).

An officer stopped the vehicle just after 12:30pm in the 900 block of East Liberty.

It was determined that trailer contained scrap metal, wood, and yard waste.

Some of the yard waste was burning.

The fire was extinguished.
