Jefferson City Corrections Center Employee Accused of Trying to Smuggle in Drugs
A Jefferson City Correctional Center employee is facing charges after deputies say she planned to smuggle in drugs.
According to the Cole County Sheriff’s Department they found the employee with 39 grams of methamphetamine packaged in multiple bags, along with about one pound of K2, also packaged in multiple bundles that were meant to be smuggled into the correctional center.
