Mexico Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Firearms Charges

A Mexico man pleads guilty in Federal court to possessing stolen firearms.

27 year old Tyler Hilderman pleaded guilty to one count of possessing stolen firearms and one count of stealing firearms from a licensed firearms dealer.

The charges stem from the Tiger Pawn Shop burglary in Columbia in September of last year.

Hilderman and 21 year old Alexander Mears of Columbia made a hole in the wall of the shop and Mears handed the 65 guns stolen through the hole to Hilderman who remained outside.

Hilderman received one pistol from the burglary and was supposed to receive half the proceeds from the sale of the rest of the guns.
