Centralia Panthers Defeat Mexico Bulldogs in District Semifinals Softball

The Mexico Lady Bulldogs softball team had their season come to an end with a 11-1 loss to the Centralia Panthers in the Semifinals of District Playoffs in Moberly tonight (Thursday).

The Lady Bulldogs would jump out on top early in the first inning on an RBI double from Senior Catcher Abby Oetting.

Centralia would answer back with 4 runs in the first.

The Lady Panthers put up another run in second inning making it 5-1.

5 runs in third inning had Centralia on top 10-1 in the third inning.

And the Panthers would put up another run in the 6th to end the game due to the ten run rule.

Mexico finishes the season at 17-13.

Centralia has advanced to the District Championship Game on Saturday morning against the Boonville Lady Pirates.
