Columbia Police Reminds Residents to Lock Vehicles After an Increase in Thefts

Columbia Police are reminding residents and visitors to lock their vehicles due to an increase in vehicle thefts and thefts from vehicles.

More than 500 calls of thefts from vehicles have occurred this year through the end of November.

Police remind you to take valuables out of your vehicle, lock the doors, and avoid leaving your vehicle running and unattended.
