Construction work near I-70 and Highway 63 in Columbia Sunday morning will have lanes of I-70 closed periodically.

Starting at 5 Sunday morning, a contractor for MediaCom will be moving a cable across I-70.

Work will start in the 2900 block of Clark Lane and head south across I-70.

Columbia Police will be directing traffic through the work zone which is expected to be complete by 6am.
