Mexico Little Dixie Fire District Responds to Large Single Story House Fire Off Highway 15

No injuries reported in a large single house fire last night (Wednesday) in Mexico off of highway 15.

Little Dixie Fire District Department responded to the call around 7:55pm off of Highway 15 and found fire in the kitchen and heavy smoke in the kitchen, attic and throughout the house.

Six trucks, 22 personnel and 1,000 gallons of water were used to put out the fire.

The family came home to find the fire. According to Little Dixie the fire started in the kitchen.
