Some changes are being made for the Mexico Bulldogs and Hannibal Pirates basketball games scheduled for tonight (Thursday) in Hannibal.

The junior varsity boys and girls games have been postponed.

Varsity girls will now play at 6pm followed by the varsity boys.

Mizzou Women’s Basketball cruised to an 84-45 win over New Orleans last night (Wednesday) at Mizzou Arena.

The Tigers jumped out to a 17-2 lead and had four score in double figures, led by sophomore guard Aijha Blackwell who had 16 points and 8 rebounds.

Mizzou Women improved to 2-1 on the season and are back on the court Saturday when they host Oral Roberts.

Missouri football officially added 21 players yesterday (Wednesday) as the national early signing period for the Class of 2021 got underway.

Some of the players that committed to Mizzou yesterday was Defensive End Arden Walker a 6’4, 240 pound, three star recruit.

Running back Taj Butts, Cornerback Daylan Carnell, and defensive end Travion Ford from Lutheran North.

Defensive tackle Realus George Jr., Safety Tyler Hibbler from Trinity Catholic, tight end Ryan Hoerstkamp (6’4, 225).

Cornerback Darius Jackson and defensive end Jon Jones both from Texas.

Wide receiver Dominic Lovett (5’10, 175), inside linebacker Zachary Lovett (6’2, 210) and quarterback Tyler Macon.

Tight end Gavin McKay (6’4, 215), defensive end Kyran Montgomery a three star recruit from Pike, Indianapolis.

Cornerback Zxaequan Reeves (6’2, 180), defensive end Daniel Robledo a three star recruit from East Los Angeles College, cornerback Davion Sistrunk (6’2, 170).

Offensive tackle Connor Tollison (6’5, 300), inside linebacker Damien Wilson (6’1, 210), defensive tackle Mekhi Wingo (6’0, 280) and FBS transfer offensive guard EJ Ndoma-Ogar (6’3, 325).

The second national signing day will be held on February 3rd.
