Mexico Bulldogs Boys Basketball Team Loses First Game of the Season to the Moberly Spartans at Macon Tournament
The Mexico Bulldogs Boys Basketball Team undefeated streak came to an end tonight (Thursday) after the Moberly Spartans advanced to the championship game of the Macon Tournament defeating Mexico 77-71.
Mexico held a 4 point first quarter lead.
Moberly would outscore Mexico 19 to 6 in the second quarter and 22 to 15 in the third.
The Bulldogs were unable to overcome the deficit in the 4th quarter.
Isaiah Reams led Mexico with 18 points, followed by 17 points from Daeye Miller, Raef Yager put up 12 points and Drew Blevins had 11.
Michael White put up 9 points and it was Jordan Mitchell rounding out the scoring book with 4.
Mexico will face the winner of the Centralia/Kirksville for in the 3rd place game of the Macon Tournament tomorrow (Friday) night with an 8:30pm tip-off.
Mexico’s record now stands at 11-1.
