COVID-19 Vaccinations Just Now Starting in Cooper County

More residents in Cooper County are starting to receive their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Cooper County Health Center received 250 doses of the vaccine on Wednesday from Boone Hospital Center.

103 of the vaccines were administered that day.

Cooper County is still behind compared to the rest of mid-Missouri’s progress on distributing the vaccine largely due to the closing of Pinnacle Regional Hospital in January of 2020 leaving the county with limited resources in getting the vaccine.
