The Community R6 Lady Trojans will be playing for the Sturgeon Tournament championship after defeating Salisbury 52-42 in the semi-finals last night (Wednesday).

The championship game pits 2 state ranked teams against each other.

Community R6 is ranked 4th in Class 1, while their opponent South Callaway is ranked 10th in Class 3.

The game will be played tomorrow (Friday) night in Sturgeon with a 7:30 tip-off.

The Missouri Tigers Football program received a commitment from a top JUCO cornerback yesterday (Wednesday).

Coach Eli Drinkwitz announced that JaDarrius Perkins is now enrolled at the University and will be playing football for the ZOU next season.

Perkins is 6’2 and has a 3-star rating.

He had offers from Auburn, Mississippi State and Oregon.

The Missouri Tigers Women’s Basketball Team will be on the road tonight (Thursday) when they travel to Gainesville to face the Florida Gators.

With a win, head coach Robin Pingeton will become Mizzou’s second-winningest coach with 186 wins, which would pass Cindy Stein who coached from 1998 – 2010. Tip-off is at 5pm.
