The Mexico Bulldogs Boys and Girls Basketball Teams will travel to Kirksville tonight (Friday) for a North Central Missouri Conference doubleheader.
The Mexico Girls are 11-3 while the Kirksville Girls are 5-6.
Tip-off is at 6:15.
The Mexico Boys come into the game ranked 2nd in Class 5 with a record of 13-1 and will battle the 10th ranked Kirksville Boys.
The Community R6 Lady Trojans will battle South Callaway in the Sturgeon championship game tonight.
Tip-off is at 7:30.
The North Callaway Boys Basketball Team lost 55-54 to Clopton in the Bowling Green Tournament last night.
The Thunderbirds had the lead the entire game until 34 seconds before the final buzzer.
North Callaway will now play for 3rd place tomorrow (Saturday) at 4pm.
Mizzou Women’s Basketball earned a hard fought, tight 61-58 road victory over Florida last night (Thursday).
Mizzou was led by redshirt junior LaDazhia Williams and sophomore guard Aijha Blackwell who chipped in 16 and 14 points respectively.
The Tigers improved to 6-5 overall and 2-4 in the SEC.
The St. Louis Blues game against the Vegas Golden Knights was postponed last night.
According to the NHL multiple members of the Vegas Golden Knights are in COVID-19 protocols, and the team’s training facilities have been indefinitely closed effective immediately.
It was the 9th NHL game to have been postponed due to the COVID-19 protocols, and the first one for the St. Louis Blues.
