Boone County Health Order Modified

Stephanie Browning, director of the Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services is modifying the county’s health order.

The modification goes into effect at noon Friday, February 12th and allows restaurants and bars serving alcohol and entertainment venues to stay open until midnight.

Masks and social distancing are still required under the order which will expire at 11:59pm on March 4th unless extended, rescinded, or modified.

The change comes as a result of lower COVID-19 numbers and a steady decline over the last four weeks.
