Deck Fire at Centralia House

No injuries reported after a deck caught fire at a house in Centralia last night (Sunday).

The Boone County Fire Protection District responded to the fire around 5:30 to a house on North Barnes Road.

The fire reportedly started from a heat lamp in a dog house on the back porch and burned a 10 by 10 foot hole into the attic space.
