Malfunctioning Detector Causes Missouri Capitol to be Evacuated

A malfunctioning detector was apparently the cause for the Missouri Capitol to be evacuated last night (Monday).

According to a report from ABC 17 the detector went off just before 7pm, and at least 4 house committee hearings were in progress at the time.

There was no fire or smoke and the evacuation was just a precaution.
