Community R6 Lady Trojans Fall to Leeton in Sectional Playoff Game

The Community R6 Lady Trojans Basketball Team fell to the Leeton Lady Bulldogs 61-48 in Sectionals tonight (Wednesday).

The Lady Trojans would trail by 3 after the first quarter.

Leeton would extend their lead to 12 at halftime.

Community R6 would get to within 8 in the 3rd quarter, however could not close the gap.

Alexis Welch led all scorers with 16 points.

Emmi Johnson finished with 9.

Brianna Beamer put up 6 points.

Emma Hombs with 5 points, and Shelby Clark had 3 points.

The Lady Trojans finish the season with a record of 24-2.
