Boone County Hosting First State Sponsored COVID-19 Mass Vaccination Clinic

Boone County will hold it’s first state sponsored mass vaccination clinic today (Friday) at the Columbia Sports Fieldhouse.

The Missouri National Guard and Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services along with the Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health are assisting with the clinic.

The state hopes to administer about 2,300 doses of the 2-dose Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

Appointments are required to get a vaccine and can be scheduled through the state’s Vaccine Navigator.

The event will run from 9am to 5:30pm.
