New Community Resource Officer for Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department

Montgomery County Sheriff Craig Allison is announcing the creation of a new Community Resource Officer Program.

Deputy Heather Hobbs has assumed the duties after having worked in Court Services for 7 years.

Deputy Hobbs’ duties will include handling public relations, providing educational programs, assisting in investigations and conflict resolution using Crisis Intervention Training.

Hobbs will also work with school districts to help with juvenile issues.

Deputy Hobbs is a Mexico native and graduated from Mexico High School in 1988.
