Fatal Crash on South Purdy Lane in Boone County

Authorities in Boone County shut down South Purdy Lane early this (Morning) following a fatal crash.

According to a spokesperson for the Boone County Sheriff’s Department it was a single car crash around 12:15 this morning in the 1750 Block of South Purdy Lane.

The driver reportedly was traveling southbound when he lost control on the gravel road, started to fishtail and rolled the vehicle.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The passenger walked away with minor injuries.
