K-9 Chal Tracks and Apprehends Mexico Man

A Mexico man fleeing from police tracked down by K9 Chal.

According to the Audrain County Sheriff’s Department, 49 year old Paul A. Boles fled on foot from a traffic stop along East Breckenridge Wednesday night and ran into the former AP Green property.

K9 Chal tracked Boles and located him hiding under a pile of insulation.

Boles failed to comply with commands to come out and instead put his hand under him where officers were unable to see them.

Chal’s handler gave the command to apprehend and Chal engaged Boles’ upper arms until officers could take him into custody.

Boles was taken to Audrain Community Hospital for stitches before being taken to jail, charged with felonies including driving while revoked, resisting arrest, leaving the scene of a crash, and felony and misdemeanor drug charges.
