Three Drug Related Arrests Made in Jefferson City
Three Jefferson City residents are behind bars following the service of a search warrant yesterday afternoon (Friday).
The warrant was served in the 3800 block of Candlelight Drive by the MUSTANG drug task force and members of the Jefferson City Police SWAT team and resulted in the recovery of a stolen .45 caliber handgun reported stolen in Holts Summit and over 10 ounces of methamphetamine worth over $6,000.
Two children located in the residence were turned over to the Division of Family Services for protective custody.
A 29-year old male is being held for receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm by a felon, trafficking drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A 32-year old female is being held for possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking drugs, and endangering the welfare of a child.
A 23-year old female is being held for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Names of those being held are withheld until formal charges are filed.
