Mexico School District Seeing Members of Administrative Team Leave This School Year
The Mexico School District is seeing a number of administration members turn in resignations this school year.
Since November 2020, seven Mexico School District administrators have left the district.
That number includes today’s (Friday) announcement of Mexico High School Activities Director Travis Blevins and Mexico Education Center Director Kerri Ferrari turning in their resignations.
Mexico Schools Superintendent Dr. Tammy Lupardus says COVID-19 has taken its toll.
Other area schools do not seem to be experiencing the same scenario.
KXEO/KWWR News reached out to the Moberly and Fulton School District officials who report they have not seen an increase in the numbers of administrative staff leaving this year.
Karen Sneethan communications director at the Fulton Schools said 2 people in the districts administration team are retiring this year due to having served 25 and 28 years in the district respectively.

- Marci Minor, District Communications Director
- John Kitchens, Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction
- Deb Haag, Mexico Middle School Principal
- Kerri Ferrari, Mexico Education Center Director
- Travis Blevins, Mexico High School Activities Director and Assistant Principal
Retirements:
- Amber Crane, Eugene Field Principal
- Lorraine Allen, Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Superintendent at Central Office
