Saline County Health Department Hosting Johnson & Johnson Vaccine Clinic

The Saline County Health Department is set to host a Johnson & Johnson vaccination clinic on May 13th.

The department announced on their Facebook page they prefer to not vaccinate women between the ages of 18 and 50 with the J & J vaccine because of the prior issues with this particular vaccine.

The J & J vaccine was temporarily paused on April 13th after some women developed a rare and severe blood clot after getting the vaccine.

It was reinstated 11 days later.
