Arrest Made in Columbia Walmart Parking Lot Shots Fired Incident

A Columbia man is facing charges after an arrest for his involvement in the shots fired incident that happened in the parking lot of Walmart at 3001 West Broadway on Monday night.

Columbia Police arrested 21 year old DeAngelo D. Hughes for the charge of tampering with evidence in a felony prosecution.

Additionally detectives learned that 2 additional suspects were also involved in the incident and developed a probable cause to issue a warrant.

The suspects were identified as 21 year old Dequan Hughes and 20 year old Gerrod Taylor both of Columbia.
