Mexico School District Announces End Date For Mask Mandate

The Mexico School District is announcing an end date for a mask mandate.

Superintendent Dr. Tammy Lupardus says masks are only required indoors and because community and District cases remain low, the mask mandate will end altogether on May 26th.

The masks will not be required indoor or outdoors during Summer School.

Masks will be optional for students and staff members.

Reasonable precautions will still be practiced.

The district will continue the mask mandate through the end of the current regular school year.
