Farber Man Taken to Hospital After Hitting Signs and Pole in Mexico Crash

A Farber man is recovering from injuries suffered in a crash in Mexico yesterday (Wednesday) morning where he is accused of hitting signs and driving while intoxicated.

According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened around 10:21 Wednesday morning on East Liberty near the old Hickman’s building.

A vehicle driven by Darryl Ball from Farber hit a sign on Liberty and Clark.

The vehicle continued East on Liberty hitting a Serenity Spa sign and came to its final resting place at the old Hickman’s building before striking a pole.

Mexico Public Safety Department officers determined Ball was intoxicated and he was taken to the University Hospital in Columbia to be treated for his injuries.
