First Candidate Files for Rep. Hartzler’s Seat

The first candidate enters the race to replace Missouri Representative Vicky Hartzler.

71-year old former Republican state Senator Ed Emery of Lamar is filing according to the Kansas City Star.

Emery also previously served as a state representative.

Hartzler’s decision to run for Senator Roy Blunt’s seat means her House seat will be up for election.
