Duplex Fire in Mexico at Huntington Court

Significant damage is being reported to the back of a duplex building in Mexico after a fire early this morning (Friday).

Mexico Public Safety responded to the fire just after 2:30 this morning at Huntington Court.

Responding personnel found flames coming through the roof at the back of a duplex.

The fire was contained and extinguished in that area with smoke and water damage to the rest of the building.

According to Mexico Public Safety the fire appeared to have started on the back wooden deck of one of the units.

The cause is still under investigation.

There were no injuries from the event.
