Boone County Homicide Victims Identified As A Fulton Elementary School Teacher And Her Eleven Year Old Daughter

The Boone County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a homicide south of Columbia.

In a Facebook post from the agency, they got a call from a family member that had been unable to contact relatives living in the 7500 block of Lavender Drive last night (Sunday) just before 11.

When deputies arrived, they found a woman and child dead in the residence.

The victims are 43-year old Allison Abitz and her 11-year old daughter Jozee Abitz.

No suspects have been identified as of yet and the department is asking anyone with information to contact them at 573-442-6131 or anonymously at 573-875-8477.
