Yadier Molina Announces Retirement

Yadier Molina’s 19th season with the Cardinals will be his last as he announces his retirement today (Wednesday).

The 39-year old signed a one-year contract for next season yesterday (Tuesday) and says he wants to bring the trophy back to St. Louis this year and next.

Molina had planned to retire next year and did not want to go through free agency again.
