KWWR Sports Report 9/6/21

The St. Louis Cardinals lost 6-5 to the Milwaukee Brewers yesterday (Sunday).

It was a tough loss for the Redbirds as reliever Alex Reyes gave up a walk-off grand slam to the Brew Crew in the 9th inning.

The Cardinals finished their road trip going 5-5 and are 3 games back of the second Wild Card spot currently held by the San Diego Padres.

The Kansas City Royals shut out the Chicago White Sox 6-0 at the K. Brady Singer pitched seven scoreless innings. Royals catcher Salvador Perez launched his 41st home run of the season.
