University of Missouri Curators Extend and Modify Mask Policy

The Curators of the University of Missouri are modifying masking policy for their students.

In a meeting this afternoon (Monday), curators extended their current order until October 15, however masking will no longer be required in outdoor settings or for those fully vaccinated attending indoor athletic events or indoor social events where attendance is voluntary.

The extension did not change the policy for healthcare workers and students working in patient care.

St. Louis and Kansas City campuses will abide by their local requirements if they are more restrictive than the system’s policy.
