KWWR Sports Report 10/23/21
The Mexico Bulldogs finished the final week of the regular season strong with a 60-14 win over Warrenton on the road last night (Friday). Michael White scored 3 rushing touchdowns and finished with 125 yards on the ground. Ty Sims put up 150 yards rushing with 2 scores. Andrew Runge had 57 yards rushing and a touchdown. And Anthony Shivers with 72 yards rushing in the game with 2 touchdowns. Mexico’s offense finished with 471 yards. The Bulldogs defense forced 3 turnovers including interceptions from Andrew Runge, Matt McCurdy and a 65 yard pick six from Michael White. The Bulldogs defense held Warrenton scoreless in the second half. Mexico finishes the regular season at 7-2 and have earned a first round bye in Districts.
