Mexico Public Safety Investigating House Fire Thought to Have Been Set During Domestic Disturbance
A house fire set during a domestic disturbance in Mexico early this morning (Monday) is under investigation.
Mexico Public Safety responded to the 600 block of Whitley before 2am and found the fire in and around a bedroom closet.
The fire was contained and put out in that area with the bedroom suffering significant fire, heat, and smoke damage.
Public Safety’s initial investigation indicates that the fire was set during a domestic disturbance in the home.
There were no injuries reported.
