One Person Flown to Hospital After Accident in Callaway County
One person was taken to the hospital by helicopter after an accident in Callaway County on Saturday morning.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol a truck was traveling westbound along County Road 292, when it hit a deer and went off the road.
The truck then hit the ground, overturned and driver 55 year old William Cockrell was thrown out of the truck.
Cockrell was flown to the University Hospital. His passenger 58 year old Jeannette Perkins-Martin had moderate injuries and was taken to the University Hospital by ambulance.
