Preliminary Numbers In for Early Portion of Missouri’s Deer Hunting Season
Over 15,608 deer are shown as harvested during Missouri’s early youth portion of the 2021 deer hunting season held over the weekend.
According to the Missouri Department of Conservation top counties were Osage with youth hunters harvesting 359 deer.
Franklin came in with 329, Audrain checked in with 115, Boone had 184, Callaway with 289 and Monroe had 194.
Last year youth hunters harvested 15,854 deer during the early youth portion.
