Mexico Public Safety Reports Stolen Car Runs Into Home After a Short Pursuit Tuesday Night
Mexico Public Safety is investigating after a vehicle was reported stolen and a short pursuit took place last night (Tuesday).
According to Mexico Public Safety a black, 2007 Ford F-150 was reported stolen around 8 last night (Tuesday) in the 300 block of North Washington.
The Ford had been left unlocked with keys inside.
At around the time of the report, a Mexico Public Safety Department officer found the Ford being driven in the 1000 block of North Clark. After a short pursuit, the Ford slowed and 4 people jumped from it, allowing it to roll into a house on North Washington.
Minimal damage is being reported to the Ford and home and no injuries.
Officers were unable to locate the people who ran, however investigations indicate they were also involved in theft from vehicles earlier in the night in the area of the 1200 and 1300 blocks of East Jackson.
