The Mexico Bulldogs boys basketball team will play St. Michael the Archangel tonight (Friday) in the annual Norm Stewart Classic at Mizzou Arena.

The event helps raise funds for the American Cancer Society and Special Olympics Missouri and will feature 26 games over 3 days.

The Bulldogs play at 10 tonight.

The Mexico boys and girls wrestling teams went 4-0 in their home opener against Marshall and Warrenton last night (Thursday).

The St. Louis Blues defeated the Detroit Red Wings 6-2 at the Enterprise Center last night (Thursday).

Nathan Walker scored his first NHL hat trick for the Blues.

The forward, who had scored three goals in his first 25 NHL games, made his season debut after being called up from the American Hockey League on an emergency basis.

The Missouri Tigers women’s basketball team is on the road tonight (Friday) to play Missouri State. Game starts at 7.
