The Kansas City Chiefs blew out the Las Vegas Raiders 48-9 yesterday (Sunday) at Arrowhead Stadium.
The game was dominated by the Chiefs from the very beginning.
Kansas City scored 5 first-half touchdowns and led 35-3 at halftime.
The Chiefs 49 points scored are the 2nd-most in a regular-season game by a Patrick Mahomes-led team.
The 9-4 Chiefs still have a shot at the No. 1 seed in the AFC as they are riding a six-game win streak.
Kansas City is on a short week as they travel to L.A. to take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday Night Football.
The University of Missouri women’s basketball got back on track with a 69-55 win over Alabama A&M yesterday (Sunday).
The Tigers were paced by a 20-point, 20-rebound effort from Aijha Blackwell.
Hayley Frank turned in another solid scoring effort with 17 points.
The St. Louis Blues lost 3-2 in overtime to the Anaheim Ducks at the Enterprise Center on Sunday.
Nathan Walker had a goal and an assist for the Blues, who had their 3-game winning streak and seven-game home streak end.
