Olivia has really been playing well the last few games scoring, defending their best player, and energy and effort on loose balls. We continue to get better as the season progresses. Our team is starting to take better shots, playing better half court defense, and building confidence through a 12 game winning streak.”
The Community R-VI boys came away with a 66-41 win over Madison.
Community leading scorers:
- Gavin Allen with 17
- Eli Johnson with 12
- Mason Caroll with 10
- Tucker Robnett with 9
- Case Stafford with 9
- Chase Dobbins with 6
Trojans head coach Tad Shotten reports “Struggled tonight a great deal in the first half, we need to do a better job finishing through contact, we finally came around some in the 2nd half, Case and Eli played well for us tonight. I am proud of Eli, he has had a rough year with 2 ankle sprains that has kept him sidelined for majority of the season, he is finally getting back to full strength and starting to get comfortable out there, I’m proud of how he has stuck with it and he can be a difference maker going forward for us.”
The Community R-VI boys improved to 6-8 on the season.
