The Mexico Bulldogs boys and girls basketball teams are headed to round 2 of the Macon Tournament after picking up wins in the opening round last night (Monday).

The Mexico Lady Bulldogs improved to 10-2 on the season with a 49-29 victory over the Harrisburg Lady Bulldogs. Mexico will play against Kirksville tomorrow night (Wednesday) at 6.

The Mexico Bulldogs boys dominated the Marceline Tigers 75-31. Mexico is a perfect 12-0 on the season and will face the Macon Tigers tomorrow night (Wednesday) at 7:30.

University of Missouri women’s basketball fell at home to 13th ranked Georgia 72-62 last night (Monday).

Aijha Blackwell earned her 13th career double-double while leading all scorers with 27 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.

The Mizzou women will next travel to Nashville to play Vanderbilt on Thursday night at 7.

The Missouri Tigers men’s basketball team will be on the road tonight (Tuesday) against Ole Miss.

Tipoff is set for 6pm.

The St. Louis Blues beat the Nashville Predators 5-3 last night (Monday) at the Enterprise Center.

Brayden Schenn and Ivan Barbashev each had 2 goals and 2 assists for the Blues.

Goalie Ville Husso made 32 saves for 8th straight home win for the Blues.

In the NFL playoffs last night (Monday) the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Arizona Cardinals 34-11.

The Rams will now face Tom Brady an the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday in Tampa in the divisional round of the playoffs.
