Mexico Bulldogs Boys Remain Perfect Against Kirksville During Winter Warming Game at Mexico High School
The Mexico Bulldogs boys basketball team pushed their record to a perfect 16-0 after defeating the Kirksville Tigers 77-57 tonight (Friday) at the Mexico High School.
It was the third meeting between these 2 teams this season.
Mexico has won all 3 contests.
Michael White put up 18 points, Jordan Shelton finished in double digits with 11 points.
Six other Mexico players got into the scoring book including Anthony Shivers, Kanye Nunnely, DJ Long, Peyton Willer, Daeye Miller and Dominic McKeown.
The Mexico boys improved to 6-0 in the North Central Missouri Conference.
After the game Haden Frazier was crowned Mr. Bulldog for Winter Warming 2022.
The Mexico Lady Bulldogs fell to the Kirksville Lady Tigers 55-28.
Mexico’s Mya Miller was honored before the game for scoring her 1,000th career point during a game last week.
Mya Miller finished tonight’s game with 11 points.
The Mexico girls are now 11-6 on the season and 4-2 in the NCMC.
The Lady Bulldogs will be back at it tomorrow (Saturday) to play Linn for 3rd place in the Harrisburg Tournament.
