The Kansas City Chiefs were defeated by the Cincinnati Bengals 27-24 in overtime yesterday at Arrowhead Stadium in the AFC Championship.
For the Bengals it is their first conference championship since 1989.
Cincinnati trailed 21-3 at one point in the 2nd quarter and their comeback is tied for the largest ever in a title game during the Super Bowl era.
The Los Angeles Rams beat the San Francisco 49ers 20-17 in the NFC Championship game.
That snapped a six-game losing streak to their divisional rivals and punched their ticket to Super Bowl 56.
The Rams and Bengals will play in the Super Bowl on February 13th.
The Missouri Tigers women’s basketball team picked up a 77-61 win over Alabama on the road yesterday (Sunday).
LaDazhia Williams and Lauren Hansen led the way for the Tigers with 18 and 17 points, respectively.
Aijha Blackwell picked up her 17th double double of the season with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Up next the Mizzou women return home on Thursday when they host 24th ranked Mississippi.
