Snow Days Covered In The Calendar For The Mexico School District
Students and staff in the Mexico School District will not have to make up the 3 days missed this week due to inclement weather.
Mexico Superintendent Melissa Chastain says the hours are already built in this year’s school calendar that are state requirements and they add more hours into the calendar to cover snow days.
According to Chastain the current snow days are covered and more than likely if there were additional snow days this year those would be covered as well.
Chastain says if any days would need to be made up at the end of the year she would communicate that information immediately.
