Mexico Bulldogs History Making Basketball Season End in Quarterfinals of State Playoffs

The Mexico Bulldogs boys basketball team’s magical season came to an end in the quarterfinals of the State playoffs this afternoon with a 69-44 loss to the Vashon Wolverines.

The Bulldogs were outscored 35-17 in the first half.

Mexico would come roaring back in the third quarter outscoring Vashon 17-13.

In the fourth the Wolverines closed out the Bulldogs with a 21-10 advantage.

Senior Isaiah Reams finished with 15 points, and senior Daeye Miller put up 13 points.

Mexico finishes this season as the Montgomery County Tournament Champs, the Macon Tournament Champions, an undefeated regular season, and setting the school record for most consecutive wins in a season without a loss.

The Mexico Bulldogs finish the 2021-2-22 season with a final record of 28-1.
