KWWR Sports Report 4/2/22
The Cards survived a 56-minute rain delay in the top of the 3rd yesterday in Florida to beat the Mets 7-2.
With the win, the Cards improve to 7-5 in spring training.
They’re back in action this evening taking on the Astros with a 5:05 first pitch.
The Royals dropped their game yesterday to the Padres, 4-2.
They’re back in Cactus League action this afternoon against the Mariners, first pitch is set for 3:05.
The Oilers got the best of the Blues last night in Edmonton, 6-5 in overtime.
The win came after Edmonton blew a 3-goal lead in the first period.
Connor McDavid scored the winning goal for the Oilers 1:11 into overtime.
The Blues were lead in scoring by Buchnevich with 2 while Schenn and Thomas contributed one each and Barbashev scored one to tie the game at 5.
The Blues travel to Calgary to take on the Flames tonight, puck drops at 9.
