Community R-VI Trojans Baseball Notches Another Win in Game Against Van-Far
The Community R-VI Trojans baseball team improved to 4-0 on the season with a 10-3 victory over Van-Far last night (Thursday).
Trojans starting pitcher Gavin Allen went six innings and struck out 13.
Jaylen Fendrick pitched the last inning and got the job done allowing no runs.
Offensively, Gavin Allen went 2-3 and scored 3 runs for the Trojans.
Mason Caroll came up big for Community going 2-3 with 3 RBI.
Chase Dobbins cleared the fence and hit his first career home run in the 5th inning to break the game open.
Case Stafford went 2-3 on the night.
Prior to the game, Community R-VI recognized the 2001 baseball team that took 3rd place in the State.
