Man Riding His Bicycle Takes Mexico Public Safety on a Chase

A Mexico man is facing charges after an arrest by Mexico Public Safety on Saturday when he is accused of taking officers on a chase.

Mexico Public Safety Department responded to the 800 block of West Monroe in reference to a disurbance.

Responding personnel learned that 48 year old Kynan J. Fox had been involved and had an active warrant for his arrest from an unrelated incident.

Officers met Fox in the 1100 block of Harwood before he tried to escape on a bicycle he was riding, and chased him for about eight block before he was taken into custody without injury.

He was taken to the Audrain County Jail and an additional case of Resisting Arrest will be forwarded to the Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney.
